Poster for a competition (more info: https://www.filmdoo.com/creativity/). I love this movie. In this image I wanted to be minimalist and I just pick few elements. An acrobat/angel is swinging on a seesaw descending from the sky, over the title & the director's name which those are alligned on a "wall" drawn by a single watercolour strip.

I saw Tampopo (Dandelion - written & directed by Juzo Itami in 1985) more than 20 years ago. It was made earlier than all this (not only movie) food obsession. As far as I remember only "La Grande Bouffe" by Marco Ferreri-1973 and "La Ricotta" by P.P.Pasolini-1962 faced so deeply the food topic earlier. I consider Tampopo one of the best movie about food and its relation with every aspect of life, love, sex, death... It is also a great movie about japanese culture and tradition (probably it was one of the responsible of why I fell in love with Japan cinema, food, etc.).
